Re: Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga (2024)
They'll never top MMFR, but I'm really looking forward to this and hoping it'll be successful so Miller can hopefully follow up with another Mad Max.

Re: The Nolan Variations (Oct 2020 Book)
I'm about halfway through the book and am enjoying it.
One odd error, though. The author credits Ken Watanabe as Ra's al Ghul at Bruce Wayne's mansion in act 3 of Batman Begins. Of course, it was Liam Neeson in that scene. Also, the author spelled Ra's al Ghul incorrectly as "Gul."

Re: TENET - General Information
Our theaters are finally open. I traveled out of state to see it when it first came out, and now I got to see it here at home at an IMAX theater. How I've missed IMAX! There are some glorious shots in this movie, like the sailboat sequence and the shot on the balcony.

Re: [SPOILER] Discussion/Speculation Thread
I had to drive to another state to see this (and unfortunately no IMAX). I need to read through this thread and see the movie again before I can formulate something more than to say I liked the movie and want to see it again (especially in IMAX, if that ever happens in my stupid state). But I do wan...

Re: TENET - General Information/Discussion/Speculation
One thing that's been disturbing me lately is the doom-and-gloom attitude that a lot of people have been adopting. Having cautious optimism isn't a bad thing... it's the last thing we have to hold on to, with all the fear and resentment going around. It's like people aren't allowed to be positive a...

Re: Teaser/Trailer #1
I've been out of touch here, so I was insanely excited and surprised during previews prior to Ad Astra when the Syncopy logo came on and the Tenet teaser rolled.

Re: HBO's Game of Thrones
So I'm assuming Jon's birthright as king was never leveraged to save his life (prior to the decision to send him north), correct? Because he would rather die (or be exiled ultimately) than serve as king? You'd think one of the Starks would have said, "Hey, yo, Jon is the true king," when he was rot...

Re: Mary Poppins Returns (2018)
I'm not a fan of the original, though it was groundbreaking at the time. I think the "groundbreaking" part is what made it more popular than it deserved. I saw Returns tonight and enjoyed it way more than the original. Loved all the performances. An eeeeevil Colin Firth was unexpected.
