Really, Oppenheimer is not the type of film that does well with the LA critics group (Killer of the Flower Moon didn't due too hot either, Gladstone didn't even win) so Oppenheimer getting runner-up best picture is actually pretty good.

Lame...just goes to show the bias against practical effects and the category has become nothing but awarding a bunch of tired, over-done CGI in mediocre films.

Sorry but not going to happen...Oppenheimer is not getting 50 million US from Japan. The new Godzilla film has only grossed 26 million so far in Japan.
