Did anyone catch the obvious parallel between Harvey's ultimate fall from grace with what almost happened to Bruce in Batman Begins, right when he was about to kill Joe Chill in the court? Those are basically the same case-scenarios. Bruce, like Dent, was desperate and he was blinded by rage and desire for vengeance. He wanted to take another man's life to make himself feel better because of what he have lost. The difference is that someone beat him to a punch. If Bruce actually killed Joe Chill, he would end up like Dent.
