Sanders should work on this now that he's the front runner.
Well, in the last Presidential election he organised about 40 rallies/events across the US where he spoke about the need to vote for Clinton in the general once she had the nomination. In the end, the kind of Sanders supporters that did not vote for Clinton in the general were more conservative-leaning from the get-go anyway. Also, if you are the candidate that can convince people who usually do not vote at all to come out and vote for you it might still be very difficult to convince them to vote for a different candidate from one of the two major parties when they usually do not vote at all and hence feel no allegiance to the parties at all. Ultimately, people have to make the decision to vote for a different Democratic candidate if their own candidate does not win. I saw a lot of that yesterday where people were saying that if it's Bernie vs trump they would find it difficult to vote for him. 'Blue no matter who' is neither controversial nor is it difficult. Last time, Bernie did all he could to get Clinton elected in the general election. I just wished the rest of the Democratic party could do the same for leftists like Bernie.

On Saudi Arabia: [Bloomberg] 'They have made progress going in the right direction'
While other Democratic candidates have been trying to outdo each other in condemning Saudi Arabia for its human rights abuses in Yemen, imprisonment of dissidents and the killing of Khashoggi, Bloomberg has struck a softer tone on the kingdom when asked about the subject.
In an interview with the Saudi-owned publication Arab News last September, Bloomberg praised the Saudi leadership over what he called efforts to "take that country into the new world".
"They have made progress going in the right direction," said the former mayor, who met with Saudi Arabia's Mohammed bin Salman in 2018 during the crown prince's visit to New York.
Senator Bernie Sanders has called for ending US support for the Saudi-led war in Yemen and changing Washington's ties with the "despotic" government in Riyadh. Former Vice President Joe Biden pledged to turn Saudi Arabia into a "pariah" state if he wins the elections.
Even when asked directly about Khashoggi by the Council on Foreign Relations in January, Bloomberg prefaced his condemnation of the murder with stressing the importance of US-Saudi ties - sounding more like Trump than his Democratic rivals.
"The US-Saudi relationship remains critical both to stability in the Middle East and to global energy markets," Bloomberg said.
