Crazy, was there any "formal" lighting or did you just use the street lamps?

Formal. The street lamp was next to useless as a light source, especially since my actor was facing away from it the whole time.

Yeah. I had a battery driven LED light panel with controllable brightness mounted on an extra tripod.
